Safari support and Leopard release
Safari support has been promised in this half of the year, but I was under the impression that it might depend on the Leopard release of OS X 10.5. Since Apple has now pushed back Leopard to October, does this mean we won't be seeing a Safari-compatible ActiveWidgets this quarter?
Thanks.

April 16,
I was very disappointed to know about Leopard release dates, but decided that AW Pro goes ahead anyway. AW Pro will support Opera 9.0+ and WebKit build 420+. Whenever Apple releases the next Safari version - it will be supported with little or no changes.
The current version of Safari (2.0.4) is based on WebKit build 419 and will not be supported. Some controls will work anyway in Safari 2.0.4 but not all of them. Assuming there will be no Safari updates until end of Q2 -
- readonly grids based on js arrays or CSV will work in Safari 2.0.4
- XML-based grids will not
- cell editing most likely will not work
- input and combo controls will look ugly
- all other controls should work fine
