'Active' is undefined ?

Good morning,

I searched the website and the forums but I can't seem to find anything. I am using the activewidgets.php and the basic.php pages and everytime I load either one I get nothing except "'Active' is undefined" at the top of the page. I have not changed the code at all except to put the connection info in. There is information in the table I am querying by the way.
