IE 6 problem

hi

i m using 2.0 version it works absolutely fine in IE 7 but when i tried to open the same in IE 6 the grid doesnt render some time......not always. thats means some it works some times it doesnt. I have tried to work it on IE 6 also after a long R&D i came to know that my page was heaving line

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

When i remove the line it works fine but i cant remove this line so please some body give me the solution

Could you post a sample code which allows to reproduce this problem?

i m posting the sample code which gave me the problem
the grid which is created will work on IE7 but wont even display in IE6

On the Top of the page i have a line

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

if i remove it this will work fine in IE6 also but i cant remove it

please give me the solution for it.
