I believe that is my question. I do not even know what a widget or active widgets are. But have seen a few post on this forum and others that suggest I might find more information here.

Is it possible to set an attribute of a pushbutton such that it doesn't
"raise" or "highlight" itself when the mouse pointer moves over it? If so,

I believe it's a feature of the widgetstyle you are using.

I don't think so, but you could select another style or even create your own
style.
