Is version 2.0 well supported?

I'm interested in ActiveWidgets or some other AJAX-enabled database grid editor (I'm also looking at dhtmlxGrid from Scand LLC). The ActiveWidgets API seems a bit more intuitive for me but I'm concerned that there doesn't seem to be much active support from the company.

What are other folks experiences? Once you've paid for the product do you get timely responses to email requests and forum posts?
