Evaluation Queries

Hi,

I am evaluating your Active Widgets for using in one of my web based applications.

I have following queries -
1) will it work on following platforms
Server - IBM WebSphere / AIX
JSP/Struts based presentation tier
Client - Windows XP / IE 6+
Does it require anything to be installed on clients
2) Will it support following features
- Easy integration with JSP based Uis
- Multi language support in grid / Internationalisation
- Sophisticated print support for grid - all rows in grid should get printed even those not visible in visible area; Grid headers should repeat themselves on every new page.

Girish,

1) AW is client-side library and it does not depend on server-side tools. It can work with any server platform but you have to do integration yourself. On the client it only requires javascript so standard IE6 (and other browsers) will work fine without any additional installs.

2) JSP you have to do yourself, some internationalization is supported (date formatting), printing is not supported.
