Is it possible to fix a row (for example a row that includes totals) so that on a column sort this totals row is not sorted?

There are two new 'rows' added in the 2.0 version. One is a second header row and the other is a footer row (you can actually have two footer rows) that you can use for this purpose. Download the beta and look at the grid example in the QuickRef folder, there is an example in the commented code on how to set this up.
