Not working (in IE anyway)

I tried inserting these two lines. What happens is the top header turns into a solid white bar where the original header was. The header is gone, but this white bar remains. How do I get rid of that?

And the left row header was unchanged,,,, meaning it's still there.

What 2 lines did you insert? You forgot that part.

If you mean the two code lines into the topic linked at the top (red link - reffering a grid Tutorial (howTo..../).... which are:
.active-scroll-top, .active-scroll-corner {display: none}
.active-scroll-left, .active-scroll-data {padding-top: 0px}

Is supposed to work fine, please note that column headers are top-most part of a grid, and row headers are left part.
