how to sort a table based on one column values on clicking another column header?

Hi alex,
i want to sort a table based on one column values on clicking another column header.
for eg in basic.html
on click 'Ticker' header i want sort table based on 'comapany name' column's values.
becoz, in my application i have on hidden column. so when i click on one column header which is visible ,i want to sort table based on that hidden column values.
Is it possible?
