Rich Text Editor

Hi,

I use ActiveWidgets since a couple of weeks and I'm realy surprised how easy I can build my forms and the way they look. Absolutely brilliant and is saves a lot of time and most of all frustration.

Now I'd like to put a rich text editor in my form. Can I do this wit AW and how?

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately no. AW does not include rich text editor yet.

Thanks anyway!

It should be possible to add one that works with AW. I just did a Google search on "javascript text editor" and there were plenty of hits.

Hi Anthony,

I implemented the editor from http://www.kevinroth.com/rte/demo.htm and it works very well together in my application with AW.

I build all my forms on the fly with all the settings in an XML file. On the form I have a button to open up an editform for the XML-file so I can configure the form easily.

It's great to work with AW. Didn't try the editable grid yet but looking forward to do so, it looks fantastic.

Next step for me is to save the users changes for the columnwidth en sort so the form will start up the same way they left it last time. Seems easy.

Thanks again!

Ron
