Attn: Alex . Embedding a Grid inside tree control

Hi Alex et al,

Do newer versions of Activewidgets support embedding grids inside Tree Control. It would be a very useful feature.

No, this is not supported in the current version.

Alex,
This feature would be very useful for developing interfaces like mail clients and discussion boards where a message can "expand" and "collapse" to show the past conversation threads.
So where expand and collapse can be provided by the tree control, the message itself can be shown by the grid control.

I vote for availablity of this in the newer versions.

I second Sumit on this. This would be a fantastic feature.

In fact I myself implemented a tree control with a grid look alike using activewidgets. It was basically a bunch of text boxes collated in each node to give the look and feel of a grid.

But again, this grid look alike does not support sorting by column. So its a pity that we are decommissioning Activewidgets from our application.
