IE7 - MouseDown problems

I have noticed in IE7 if you click a button (or grid row, etc..) and hold the mouse button down and release the mouse button elsewhere on the screen the button (or other object) stays in the mouse down position.

How can i fix this?

This problem does not appear only in IE7, in fact, it appears on IE6 too. When I clicked and hold the button and release else where, the button (or checkbox) doesn't change back to the original shape. Could this be a potential system issue?
