Export to direct excel (xls) file

First, very good job you done Alex !

Did you prepare a method to export the display data in an excel well formatted file. This will be a very great feature.
Xml and PDF export will also be very interesting.

I feel that export to Excel (full dataset) should be done server-side, especially if you implement some form of paging. Here is the link which shows simple example:

Copy/paste (selection) is a different matter, but I should implement range selection first :-)

Just do a CVS file. It works on most situations.
