Combo box questioon

With a regular html combo box, I can set the "human readable text" and a value.

With AW, I see how to set the Combo text, but is there a way to set the value?

This way, I can make it more readable to users but pass the correct values to functions. Sure, I can create a js case block to convert it, but that just adds a bunch of code when using this AW component.

Any thoughts? Am I missing something?

Can you comment on the future enhancements for the combo control. I think supporting the value should be included. Also, there seems to be some bugs under firefox.

I do agree what it would be a better option (of the three) if Alex supproted the value aspect of the combo component. I actually find it really strange that it's not part of AW.

But, your solution works. So I'll go with it.

The combo was one of the last things Alex completed in the 2.0 version before release (it was incomplete in the betas). I think it just needs a little more polishing.
