Is AW safe from IE's memory leak?

It is O.K. for me, if there were some features missing, (or in its way) after all, AW is still in beta. But my concern is whether AW is being developed keeping in mind that IE6 has a serious memory leak problem:

Does AW use any of the above said patterns that would cause memory leak in IE?

PS: If it really does, please do not give me suggestions not to use IE. I am not the one using the application. It is the world - where IE is the dominating (atleast, in future, 'the was dominating') browser. And, of course, I like FF and cross browser development.
