Wrapping of non-spaced text

We are looking into buying a control such as this. I would like to know if non-spaced text (example, "verylongtext_with_no_word_breaks") displayed inside a cell will do word wrap at the specified column width. Or would this push the column width to increase in order to accomodate the entire text.

By default the text will be cut and IE will show ellipses (...). If you apply multi-line style to the cells - the content will be wrapped to several lines (in IE - even non-spaced text as in your example).
