About "var table = new Active.XML.Table;"

Hi,
Could anyone Please tell me if I could convert the table from
xml-simple.html
that gets created this way: var table = new Active.XML.Table;
and gets populated this way:
table.setURL("../data/companies-simple.xml");
table.request();
into the many dimentional array myData used in basic.html?
