Changing style of the selected row dynamically

hello

i have not found this in the forum or in the reference. i would like to keep the background-color of the selected row as when it is not selected and change only the background-image. the latter part is ok via css but the background-colors vary depending on data, so should be set dynamically when selected.

anyone knows how to do this?

that would also make it not to set the background-color of the selected row at all, but no luck with this either.

I would think that if you changed the CSS class that controls the highlighted color, removing the background color reference and replace it with a background-image reference it should work. You might have to add a background-image reference to the normal row state class to clear the image once the row is not selected.

Just a thought, I have not tried this,
