check box - on sort issue

hello,

I am having check boxes in first column of grid.
I have used code expalined in http://www.activewidgets.com/javascript.forum.4106.3/checkbox-cell-help-needed.html

But when i sort, the check box selection is not retained i.e. if i check some of the check boxes n then click on some column header then those checkboxes are unchecked automatically.

Also i went through many post on forum whihc suggest to use check box template. But i am not able to get stable code for such template.

Please help.
