Cell Data based on XML Value

Is there a way to take an XML field (ex. "Aproved") contains a 1 or 0 to say if the item is aproved. now in my grid code i need to put a image in a cell based on the value for the record. So a value of 1 would show image "aproved.jpg" and value 0 would not show any image.

any suggestion would be greatly aprecated.
