Saving Editable Grids for Live Viewing

Okay. Im looking for a way to combine the grid capabilty of EDIT and Display.

I would like to have the ability to call up a database on one page which I can edit. Then the ability to save the edits I've made to the server so that it can be viewed on an uneditable grid on a different page.

Is this possible? If so... how?
