Development is very complex with this grid

Hi all,
First of all i am new to this grid. Looking very helpfull for performance problem. but i found that coding with this grid is very complex. Syntax are not clear. They are not programmer friendlly. But i agree that that it is not big task for programmer to understand this code. The main problem is with documentation. Only online documentation is provided and the major issue is documentation is not well organized. I dont find all column properties at one place and row properties at one place. But support forums are very much usefull in this site. I realy wonder, for this huge support forum support.

Any way i need some help from you people. I need to hide my dynamc grid rows and columns with some condition. I found that obj.setColumnIndices([1,2]) function. it is hiding the column headder. but when scrooling the grid vertically, except headder text of those columns..remaining data appears of those columns. I hope i will get a solution for my problem. And i need to hide grid rows after grid appears with some button click
