XML Table Return Value

I need to return an id from a row when clicked and execute a function from an XML table, I have searched the forum but have been unsuccessful in finding my answer. The only ID that I have been able to retrieve is the table ID itself.

Finally, I found it here http://www.activewidgets.com/javascript.forum.9042.7/get-row-id.html

just had to look further.
