best way to expand/collapse summary rows

I'm looking for opinions: what is the best way to expand/collapse summary rows showing detail rows. I don't really need the "table in a table" example that has been posted on FOAW; however just a table where I hide/show detail rows based on clicking of a +/- image.

I need to be able to allow multiple rows to be "expanded" at the same time, too.

Again.. looking for opinions on this.. I've seen alot of very helpful posts around the topic, but none that are exactly what I'm attempting to do.

Hi Gary
Well, it mostly depends on how many expanded-rows at a time you need. ( for ovbious rendering performance reasons).

I think that Rob's Grid in Grid Sample (modifyed to allow multiple expansions) is the best choice from now, but not using a 2.0 grid for details (as said avobe ).
Of course you need to create/destroy detail objets on demand.

If the e-r are more than.. (say twenty ), I recommend you to use List controls instead of grids, but if the max e-r is less, then I would use ver 1.0 grids for details. (I did some tests on this).

Thanks, Carlos! I'll give both of those ideas a shot.
