Subclassing grid in Version 2

Does anyone have an example of subclassing Grid in Version 2? I can find examples for Version 1.0, but using those in Version 2 produce inconsistent results.

The AW.Grid.Extended is a subclass of AW.UI.Grid - maybe this could be an example (source/lib/grid/exteded.js)?

Thanks. For some reason previously when I'd tried to subclass the grid, nothing was being displayed and I wasn't getting any noticable errors.

I think something about my IE settings had changed so that JavaScript debugging was no longer taking place and I hadn't noticed that there were JavaScript errors on my page.
