changing tabs

is this what i need to create an action when a tab is clicked?

No, this is for Ver 1. tabbing. I suggest that you open the tabs.htm file in the QuckRef folder and read the comments in it about the events that you can attach to.
What you see here involved what control you go to when you hit the tab key. Entirely different beast then what you want.
