Chrome with AW 2.5.6 and 2.5.5

HI ..
The examples provided with the free download for AW 2.5.6 and 2.5.5 don't seem to show anything in Chrome.

I am particularly referring to the provided Example ..

activewidgets-2.5.6-trial/ActiveWidgets/examples/grid%20data%20-%20csv%20text%20file/basic.htm

But it seems that most of the external data examples don't work for me.
They work fine in IE. I wonder if there is something basic that I am missing.
