Is there a way of cancelling the already existing row modifications?(i.e making that particular row uneditable?

hi all,suggest me a solution.The prob. is

I had a row in my grid for which I should not allow any more modifications for that row only and atleast let me know wether it is psbl r not? in activewidgets
